Avoid the freshman fifteen with exercise
Oh, the freshman fifteen. What are they? The fifteen pounds many people pack on during freshman year, when they leave mom’s home cookin’ for a life of constant fast food and microwavable snacks. Many people don’t want this weight to stay but are unsure of what to do. They look for the next miracle pill or diet patch to try and get results yet miss the most obvious choice. Let me throw some advice at you; you likely won’t get the results you want with those tactics, and if you do, it’s probably not healthy.
The best way to avoid the dreaded freshman fifteen? Exercise. Make time to exercise and as long as you burn more calories than you consume, you’ll have it made. You can diet to try and get faster results, but like I said, burning more calories than you take in will do the job, too. I know it’s hard to get out there and exercise on your own - so ask a friend! Make it a regular routine; say, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday you run two or three miles. Before you know it, you’ll be right back where you were before college.
