Facebook’s response to my complaint about Flyers Pro
Below you’ll find a message I wrote to Facebook customer service via the help section of the Facebook site. After that, you’ll find the response they gave me. I wrote my piece to them after I had learned that two of my advertising campaigns had been disabled.
To Facebook:
“What exactly ARE we allowed to use them for? People who use Flyers
Pro want clicks, not impressions. But it seems (I’ve done a lot of
googling) that the majority of what gets put up is disabled
immediately. I’ve noticed this is the case for a lot of bloggers. Why
babysit? I mean, aside from porn, racist sites, etc… there’s no need
to disable a lot of these ads, like ones that include affiliate links. Let
your users decide what they want to click on. And P.S. banning
certain keywords = really lame. If you’re going to open up an
advertising platform, actually OPEN IT.”
Their response:
“Hi Shawn,
Thanks for your feedback concerning Flyers. We are working hard to
make this product as useful as possible to all users, and we welcome
any suggestions. Let us know if you have any further questions or
concerns.
Thanks for contacting Facebook,

Did they even read my message? They didn’t answer one single question I asked. I don’t know about everyone else, but I’m really starting to lose my faith in Facebook.

I’ve been doing some tests with Facebook Flyers, the results of which you can see here…
