Recently, Yahoo announced that they were letting a thousand of their employees go, due to the drop in the stock market. Now, Microsoft has made a bid to buy Yahoo. The deal is intended to be closed by the end of the year. So, is this the end of Yahoo, and how will Microsoft cope with competing against Google?
