The Macbook Air fits the Apple stereotype in that it too caused a lot of hype and at least from the technology side, its hype is unjustified. Yes, just like the IPod and IPhone, it is slim and sexy but it cannot compare to its competition when it comes to features. There is no optical drive, no Ethernet jack, a small hard drive and only 1 usb port. The Lenovo x300 solves all those issues in a package a little bit thicker but well worth the extra millimeters
