After thirteen years of companionship, Sophie, Oprah Winfrey’s dog, died last month. In her honor, Oprah will be dedicating a show about the abuse of dogs at puppy mills. As a result of being informed the horrific news, Oprah has announced that if and when she adopts another pet, it will be from a shelter.
